Maine Street Events

About Us

Amanda and Jean EnoAmanda Similien, founder of Maine Street events, takes her event planning experience from various aspects of her life. As an Economic and Community developer focused on downtowns, manager of her family’s Inn and even planning a school opening and other events as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Haiti, planning events is a major part of what inspires Amanda.

Maine Street Events became reality after many years of Amanda being the go to for event planning for the businesses and nonprofit organizations she worked with. They often had great ideas or plans for fundraising, but lacked the extra time and staff to bring the potential events to their true potential, thus Maine Street Events decided to be there to provide guidance, kick it up a level, or take on the entire project. Bringing events to the next level for others is the fuel that fires Maine Street Events.

DJ Jean Eno Similien: Jean Eno’s passion is music and people enjoying music. Hailing from the Caribbean country of Haiti, where he ran his own Radio Station and DJ business, he brings the warmth and friendliness of the islands to Maine. His ear can fine tune sound in any situation, and you will dance the night away.
